Dare Devil Drivers

Enterprise

Quayside Restaurant

Trappers Trail

- View from car park in 2000 - is very different today. Now dominated by Lost City rides.
- Dare Devil Drivers, the undercover Dodgems was removed. Zodiac now occupies this space.
- The large fire in July destroyed a number of major rides, so a quick fix was needed in the form of a travelling Huss Enterprise - which was refurbished in the following closed season and introduced as Zodiac.
- The Quayside Restaurant was rethemed in to Sleepy Joe's Rib Shack.
- Trappers Trail was removed to make way for part of Colossus. Slammer now stands in the remaining space.

- All that remains of Tropical Travels is part of its queue line, now used for Nemesis Inferno.

- Thunder River was rethemed (or ruined?) in to Rumba Rapids.

- Another shot of Thunder River, which was much wilder with nice boats back then.

- Banner used to hype up Colossus.

2002:

Dino Bumper Boats

- First photo shows Lost City before Eclipse, the observation wheel was installed on the left.

- Lost City before Quantum and Eclipse. Many thought this area would look cluttered with two new rides in an already small area, but the nice vegetation blended them in well.

- The imposing volcano of Nemesis Inferno now stands exactly where Dino Bumper Boats once was.

 - Nemesis Inferno teaser banner. After all this time does the ride match this bold claim?

2003:

Calgary Stampede

Tea Cup Twisters

Tea Cup Twisters

- The tired Calgary Stampede was removed for Samurai, the mighty warrior from Chessington.

- Good news to hear is that Calgary can now be found travelling the fair circuit.

 - Teacup Twisters was refurbished and made to fit in the adjacent Amity area which was expanded again in 2006.

- The exterior was rethemed, crack effects added to the tea cups and floor painted a new colour scheme.

Eclipse

- First row of pics show the Flying Fish. Made by Mack, and powered along the track, many people have fond memories of the ride as it was a true icon to early Thorpe Park. Little did we know it would return in 2007.

- After only two seasons, the 82ft high Fabbri Observation Wheel - Eclipse, was removed due to lack of riders.

It was sent to Chessington and replaced by Rush, the S&S Screamin' Swing ride.

Model World

- Although the waterbuses to Thorpe Farm stopped at the end of the 2004 season, the jetties were removed in summer 2005 to make way for Stealth.

- Third and fourth photos show the excellent Stealth advertisement banner which surrounded Model World, last.

Pirates 4D

- Many people were disappointed in the news that 2006 would be the last season for Thorpe Farm

- Photos also show Canada Creek railway when it ran its full length, and Neptune's Kingdom before Flying Fish.

- In 2007 the aging Pirates 4D was replaced by Time Voyagers.
